Hello, so I've tried to connect to my boyfriend's town now about 3-4 times and everytime I get an error number 86420. The same thing happens when he tries to get into my town. I have been to support.nintendo.com and it says it may just be his computer if i can connect with another person but not him. So I was wondering if anyone here would volunteer to help me out and add me as a friend and open their gate for me so I can see if I would have to do anything on my end.

The reason why I don't just check if everything is okay on my end is because the desktop that the router is connected to is actually dead so in order to change any settings on the router I'd have to go move the huge peice of furniture, then find and remove the wires from the desktop that dont work then plug them into my laptop, and thats just a lot of unneeded work.

Please reply on this string or message me if you can help me, thank you.

I think a lot of people these days are having trouble with Wi-Fi.
I've heard that the problems were caused because a lot of people got the game for Christmas and tried to connect to Wi-Fi, causing some servers to crash or something.
You might just have to wait Sad

But of course, I could be totally wrong Razz
