|
Our first ACWW Contest is going to be short stories. Write a story about Animal Crossing, including characters from the game. It will be anonymously judged by people who pay ACWW, but are not members of the website. Winners will be posted by May 7th and the top 3 will receive a custom banner and rank.
Rules:
* Must be between 100 and 500 words long
* Must relate to Animal Crossing
* Closing date for entries is April 30th
* Be creative and have fun with the story!
Email all entries to NookBay_Jewcat@yahoo.com, any entries posted as a comment will be deleted

I think I might do this, but I would like to know What happens it you are a bit over the word limit, and would stuff like "a", or "I" would count. Also I have a few ideas, or is it only one story per person.

Okay, because I just did 100 words in around 3 minutes, and it might be little more then 500 words.
One story? I will write a few of them, and I will choose the best one.

It is just a generalization, don't make it much longer than 500 words. There won't be a penalty though. But please try to make it at least 100 words. I doubt a story that is under 100 words would compete very well with the others.

It is ok if it is over 500, just not too long because the people who will be judging have to read all the stories submitted. |
